Ottawa’s new fire truck was dedicated yesterday. The ceremony had to be moved inside due to the rainy cold weather. About 60 people braved the weather to attend the event. Mayor Mike Skidmore says the truck was a need for the city, not a want.
Those in attendance got to participate in an old-fashioned bucket brigade, as a bucket of water was passed from the truck they are retiring to the new truck.
