Employees of the Ottawa Power Plant are going back to school, at least it’s a version of school. Recently, Gabe Sheffield became the first employee to complete a certification program sponsored by the Kansas Municipal Utilities and Flint Hills Technology programs. Power Plant Superintendent David Hunsaker made the announcement to the Ottawa City Commission.
The program is designed to enhance the skills of personnel who work at the Ottawa Power Plant.
