There are an awesome group of students in the USD 290 District that want to be identified as something more than a cyclone. These students are part of the A.D.U.L.T.S. program for achieving dreams through learning transition. These students are in a program for 18 to 21-year-olds that are receiving services to help them prepare for the workforce. Superintendent Doctor Ryan Cobbs says it was exciting to listen to the group present at the school board meeting Monday night.
He adds that the students don’t feel that they are in high school anymore, and would like to be recognized in a different light.
