Ottawa Middle School is trying to motivate students to learn many different ways. They initiated a project this year called project-based learning. One class was designed to be based only on student-led projects Superintendent Doctor Ryan Cobbs says there are many types of projects including one that is pushing for a language teacher at OMS.
Middle School Principal Charlie Stoltenberg says he hopes the program will also help students identify their interests so they will know what they want to do as a vocation in later years.
