Young Parents struggle to raise their kids and give them the things they need to get by. More than a tenth of parents in Kansas are between 18 and 24 years old. They’re often still struggling to get their own footing in the world. A new report suggests that about seven in 10 kids in Kansas are being raised by those young parents who live in poverty.
