Two Miami County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were injured in an accident Saturday evening October 27th. They were responding for a call for service on K-68 when the crash occurred. 23-year-old Christian Peuser of Paola was traveling eastbound on K-68 when he slowed down to turn. A vehicle driven by 26-year-old Colt Chase of Osawatomie struck Pueser’s vehicle from behind. Both suffered injuries in the crash. Both were taken to Miami County Medical center for treatment and released. Bot deputies were wearing seatbelts.
