You now have more hours to get your driver’s license. The hours of operation for most driver’s license offices in Kansas changed effective yesterday. The new hours are 8 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon, Monday through Friday, beginning this week. Under the previous schedule, offices statewide were closed on Mondays.
Director of Vehicles David Harper says that this is just one change to the driver’s license operations that they are rolling out in addition to mobile renewal and faster service in the office. Drivers and ID holders who want a real ID should use the document checklist to make sure they have everything they need before visiting the office.
