An accident in Miami County has claimed the life of a Kansas City Man. About 4 Sunday morning November the 11th, authorities responded to an injury accident on 69 Highway north of 223rd Street. According to a media release from the Miami County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle that was driven by 29-year-old Jacob Knapp was traveling in the wrong direction in the northbound lanes of 69 Highway when it struck a vehicle driven by 44-year-old Charlene Crabbe. A passenger in her vehicle, 25-year-old Alexander Kinsley of Kansas City Kansas was killed in the crash. Knappe and Crabbe were transported to area hospitals for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. According to the release, Crabbe received life-threatening injuries. The crash is under investigation by the Miami County Sheriff’s Office and the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
