The Ottawa City Commission is taking a go-slow approach to changing contractor licensing regulations that would somewhat free up certain requirements for skilled workers. Commissioner Eric Crowley is the owner of Advantage Electric. He says maintaining current regulations could adversely affect local business.
The Community Development Department was instructed to do a survey of local contractors and report the results to the commission within a few weeks.
