The mother of a 4-year-old boy taken from Ottawa in early October is in police custody. 40-year-old Trina Tinsley was arrested after she returned to the United States from Mexico, where she had taken 4-year-old Jax Tinsley after his father had reported him missing when a school official called and asked when he would return to school on October 9th. Thanks to fast work by the Ottawa Police, the KBI, and the FBI Jax was found and returned to Ottawa on October 25th.
