Ransom Memorial Health is putting its hopes in a partnership with Adventist Health as it looks for ways to assure future operation as a hospital. There’s also another way the hospital hopes will improve financial operations. RMH CEO Matt Heyn says the fact that a new governor is about to take office in Kansas raises the hopes that she will expand Medicaid.
Those sates approved expanding Medicaid after getting approval from voters. Heyn says Medicaid expansion would instantly open up a new two million dollar stream of income for RMH.
