On Wednesday November the 28th, deputies and detectives with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Wellsville man on charges of distribution of child pornography. 55-year-old Joseph Saunders was arrested on a warrant after a long going criminal investigation. The investigation was conducted in cooperation with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Forces representing federal, state, and local law enforcement.
Franklin County Sheriff Jeff Richards encourages everyone to report suspicion of child exploitation to local law enforcement. Saunders was booked into the Franklin County Jail.
