Franklin County has fallen behind in it’s 9-1-1 phone system… but that won’t be the case much longer. Emergency communications director Nick Robbins says the current system is quite old.
The county approved installing a new system, called the Next Gen 9-1-1 system. The new equipment will be paid for from the existing 9-1-1 fund.
