A West Franklin bus was involved in an injury accident Thursday January 24. About 4:30 p.m., a bus driven by 62 year old Cindy Walkup of Pomona was attempting to turn onto Shawnee Road when it struck a vehicle driven by 34 year old Ashley Ellmaker of Ottawa, as it was travelling East bound on Shawnee Road. Six occupants were transported by Franklin County EMS to area hospitals for further evaluation and treatment of their injuries.
