Repairs to the city of Paola’s 16 inch water main have been completed. Water samples have been delivered for testing to the Kansas Department of Health and Environment lab in Topeka, but it will be tomorrow morning Tuesday January 29th before the results are available. Paola will continue to be under the water boil advisory through this evening and part of tomorrow. City officials anticipate KDHE lifting the water boil dvisory sometime tomorrow morning but what is dependent on the completion of the lab tests and the water quality being approved. They appreciate your cooperation and apologize for the time it is taking to get back to normal. Notification will be posted on the city’s website and on social media as soon as the water boil advisory has been lifted.
