Two people were seriously injured in an accident in Linn County Thursday night February 14th when their vehicle was struck by a semi truck at the K-7 and K-152 intersection. A pickup driven by 20 year-old James Dolan of Louisburg was attempting to cross the intersection after failing to yield at a stop sign when it was struck by the semi driven by 72 year-old Bernard Duncum of La Cygne. Dolan and his passenger, 18 year-old Madison Snider of Kansas City were taken to Overland Park Regional Hospital with what was described as serious injuries. Duncum was not injured in the crash. The Kansas Highway Patrol says all three were wearing their seatbelts.
