The plan for Legacy Square is to build it all at once and not in phases…. And yet it seems that many Ottawa downtown business owners thought it would be constructed in phases, minimizing the loss of parking and resulting loss of business. The Ottawa City Commission heard from several business owners during their regular study session… John Coen of the Greater Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce says the original plans have changed.
Coen and other Legacy Square officials plan on holding more meetings with business owners to try to arrive at a compromise solution.
