If you order something on Amazon from a company located in Missouri or some state other than Kansas… Than many times you may not have paid the Kansas sales tax. A bill passed by the Kansas House is aimed at correcting that…In other words, an out of state company is supposed to collect sales tax the same as any company located in Kansas. State Representative Blaine Finch says it’s a matter of fairness.
