Construction at Legacy Square in downtown Ottawa will kick off tonight, Tuesday March 5th with a big ceremony, Ottawa Chamber of Commerce President John Coen tells us more.
Legacy Square will transform the intersection of first and Walnut streets, where the Flint Hills Nature Trail intersects with the Prairie Spirit Trail, with a large green space, covered pavilions, covered parking, and opportunities to hold outdoor events. Nearly the entire 4 million dollar price tag has been donated by local businesses and individuals.
