Franklin County property tax appraisals and tax notices should have hit your mailbox Monday March 11th. Residential sales have been steadily on the rise since 2014 and county appraiser Jamie Wilson says the increase this year was larger than normal.
He adds that the commercial market has seen a slower increase and is only up about three to four percent. Agricultural land values are based on a different formula, some land in the area has an increased valuation, while some has gone down slightly.
