The worst thing a fire department wants to find out once they arrive on a fire scene… is the fire hydrant doesn’t work. That’s the possibility the city of Wellsville faces as the result of recent tests. Wellsville Fire Chief Robert Thomas, told the city council about some recent alarming results.
Thomas says the city needs to check on the water supply going north and south and make any needed repairs quickly to get all hydrants up to standard.
