A fatality accident occurred just before three yesterday afternoon, Tuesday April 2nd on I-35 just north of the Williamsburg exit. The victim has been identified as 57-year-old Lisa Shorthall of Topeka. Her vehicle left the roadway and rolled in the median. The highway was reduced to one lane in both directions for a time as crews worked the scene and was reopened about 6:30 last night. The crash is still under investigation by the Franklin County Sheriff’s office.
