A very tough day for emergency responders in Franklin County first, this morning about 5:30a.m., crews responded to a fatality accident on K-68 and Utah Rd, east of Ottawa. In that incident, a pickup truck became lodged under the back axle of the semi. K-68 remains completely shut down in both directions.
Then shortly before 8a.m this morning, a report came in of another accident on I-35 at the 174-mile marker, south of Ottawa. That accident has resulted in three deaths. Traffic is still down to one lane in that area. Very few details are available about the accident. Kofo will pass on any information as it becomes available.
