As the flood waters begin to recede a bit in Franklin County, Franklin County emergency management Director Allan Radcliff says, “Some of the roads are starting to become accessible again.” However, he warns to use caution when traveling on them.

He adds that public works crews are out removing debris from many roads and says, “Rumors that the dams at Pomona and Melvern lakes are failing and that massive amounts of water will be released from emergency spillways is not true.”
