If you have fences around your home or property, is it a real fence? That may sound like nit-picking, but the state of Kansas does have a requirement. Franklin County commissioner Roy Dunn recently attended a conference for county commissioners, and he learned something about fence law.
Dunn says, “There’s also a move on something called constitutional home rule for counties, That will have to be studied carefully because it could change a lot of things in how counties operate.”
