It seems like some people think a disaster is a perfect time to commit a crime. That appears to be the case with all the flooding in Franklin County and elsewhere. Public Works Director David Lee says, “Some people can’t keep their hands off barricades.”
The county commission approved an emergency declaration which opens the way to call for help from other counties or state agencies if needed.
