As construction progresses on Legacy Square, concerns about the parking loss by area businesses are becoming less of a concern. Ottawa Chamber President John Coen says, “The business owners have had to make some accommodations.”
The steel frame of the covered area of Legacy Square has gone up in the past couple weeks. Through heavy rains, have slowed construction, the project is still on track to be complete in September. Also, more good news! The alley behind the business in the 100 blocks of Main was stripped yesterday and will be open today!
