It seems like when it comes to transitioning from middle school to high school, many Ottawa students are having a tough time. The Ottawa school board heard a report that far too many middle school students Flunk courses and have to re-take them. School superintendent Ryan Cobbs something is definitely wrong.
Cobbs says, “This situation points out, for one thing, the need for a different way of grading that will more accurately gauge a student’s capabilities.”
