As the new school finance law takes effect ant the dollars start to roll in, USD 290 know that the expectations of accountability and assessment scores will increase. Doctor Ryan Cobbs says, “If sound intrus=ction is happening, they should not only see an increase in test scores but expect it. The district needs to be an even better job at driving core instruction and make sure teacher are aligned not only at grade level but within their department.”
“They are taking a look at how students are being assessed and coming up with a plan to grades students on what they are actually learning and get out of the class.”
