Franklin County emergency management sponsored safety awareness day Saturday. Along with a huge array of emergency vehicles, demonstration from the dive team and one of the first public displays of the county’s emergency radio tower, visitors could gain valuable information. One topic was boating safety. Army Corp of Engineer representative Kelsey Bain talks about the most important thing you can do while on the water.
Others giving important information was the Franklin County Health Department, Elizabeth Layton Center and in a car seat safety check.
