It’s almost time for the city of Ottawa to decide whether it wants to continue funding for the Ottawa Main Street Association. The City Commission had several questions for officials from Main Street about further projects and funding. Association President Cathy Sutton had a question for commissioners.
The commissioner generally appeared non-committal but several did compliment the association for having improved financial reporting statements. Previously the commission would only go along with a 6-month agreement because of complaints that the association wasn’t providing enough financial agreement for 15,000 dollars in contributions expires at the end of June.
