Dirt is flying all over the place in USD 290 as construction projects begin and come to an end. Construction began recently at Garfield on the new pre-k addition. At Lincoln, new playground equipment is being installed, as well as at Garfield. Superintendent Doctor Rayn Cobbs says, “Construction is starting to wrap up on the new performing arts center at Ottawa High School.”
Play areas similar to the one at Sunflower Elementary are being installed to make it more accessible to all people and much safer as well.
