The Ottawa City Commission accepted a bid for construction of the sanitary sewer system at proximity park from matador construction at its meeting on June 5th matador has since withdrawn their bd due to what they deem an error on their part. The commission is attempting to recover what is called a bid bond from the company. City attorney Blaine Finch explains,
The commission is expected to accept the bid from the next lowest bidder, site rite construction, at the regular meeting tomorrow. Their bid came in slightly higher at $2.1 million.
