Some major changes at Cornstock this year. The Charlie Daniels band has been moved to the headliner. The original headliner the Eli Young band has pulled out due to an opportunity to tour with another artist. The board of directors says, “The circumstances are beyond our control but we are very confident that with Charlie Daniels are the headliner and being preceded by Whiskey Meyers, those attending the festival will get a great show.” Whiskey Meyer has sold out nearly every show they have done the past two years. They combine country and southern rock to create a sound all their own.
Cornstock will be held this year on September 28th at Lake Garnett. William Clark Green will open the show, followed by Whisky River the legendary Charlie Daniels.
