It’s not clear when construction will begin, but at some point, the Ottawa Library will be moving to a location at 228 west 15th street. During the Ottawa Commission study session, Mayor Blake Jorgensen had a question for library Director Terry Charter.
The final rezoning of the area is expected to be approved at Wednesday’s night commission meeting. The library will then start designing a new building. It is expected to provide considerably more room than the current facility.
