The Ottawa City Band concert this week is going to be tomorrow in conjunction with the Chautauqua Festival in Forest Park. Band Director Mark Paquette says, “It will be a patriotic theme, of course, and he hopes for a huge crowd for the performance.” He runs us through some of the song selections.
The band will play at 6 in Forest Park and immediately after, Paquette will drop the role as conductor and grab his sticks to play drums in the bop daddies band. Come on down to Forest Park and enjoy on the evening a piece of marvelous music, fantastic food, and family fun. All leading up to the huge fireworks display!
