To no one’s surprise, gas prices are bouncing up for the 4th of July holiday weekend. Ottawa has seen a ten cent jump in gas since last week. Shawn Steward with triple an of Kansas says, “The supply has dropped.”
He adds, “One factor in the increase is the explosion last week at one of the largest east coast refineries.” That plant is still shut down. The price of gas in Ottawa as of this morning was $2.49 per gallon.
