If you live in Ottawa and you’re thinking your electric bill hasn’t gone up for a long time you’re right. Ottawa Utilities Director Dennis Tharp told the City Commission there’s a survey going on right now.
Tharp notes that it would be better to have smaller increases more often to shock customers with a big rate hike the kind that is apparently on the horizon.
