The Wellsville City Council is balking at the $2,500 that the Franklin County development council is asking the city to pay. Mayor Bill Lytle took note that the organization has no Director and it’s leaving things in limbo.
He added that it’s a pretty steep price to pay if they don’t see anyone in a leadership position for a while.
The City Council voted to table the matter for now until the city can send representatives to talk to the FCDC about the status of the organization.
