For the most part, most people agree Ottawa is rather a peaceful town. That was not always the case. Ottawa Police Cheif Adam Weingartner says, “Around 25 years ago, it was a tense place.”
Weingartner was appointed the new police chief in early June and has been with the department since 1995.
