The recent feud between Kansas Governor and the Attorney General over food benefits involved her plan to continue food assistance to over 5,000 people even though they apparently didn’t meet work requirements. State Representative Blaine Finch says, “It’s a matter of following the law.”
The Governor eventually dropped her plan in order, she says, “To avoid a lengthy court battle.”
