A new mobile food pantry is getting underway to extend food assistance to the rural areas of Franklin County. Sheriff Jeff Richards says, “The program started from an idea.”
If you want to get food from the rolling pantry, call 785-222-0848 and leave a message. Food deliveries are on Tuesday evening at 7. In Ottawa the distribution is made at Hope Anthem Church, in Princeton, it’s the community building parking lot, and in Richmond, it’s the United Methodist Community Church. You must provide ID and proof of residency.
