The Ottawa Police Department assisted by the Franklin County sheriff’s office responded to a medical emergency in the 1100 block south Hickory yesterday afternoon just before 2. Initially, the call was for a person not breathing and possibly deceased. Upon arrival, first responders found a 33-year-old Ottawa man dead at the residence. The Police Department is investigating a possible overdose in the case, but the investigation is ongoing and law enforcement officials are asking anyone with any information to contact the Ottawa Police Department.
