The flooding this spring and summer affected people and it also kept the Franklin County Conservation District extremely busy. District Manager Kerri Harris gave a quarterly report to the County Commission.
Harris says, “As bad as the soil erosion was with the flooding, everyone agrees it would’ve been much worse were it not fir the conservation practices in effect since the 1930s.”
