The flooding in North Ottawa has taken a lot of people by surprise, including law enforcement officials. Ottawa Police Chief Adam Weingartner says, “The speed of the flood caught him somewhat off guard.”
Weingartner says, “There’s no way to assess damage until the water recedes and cleanup occurs.”
