There’s good news and bad news. First, the good news is that the intersection of K-68 and Main in Ottawa is open again to traffic. The bad news is that the traffic signals are still not working normally. Public Works Director Michael Haeffele says, “Blame it on the flooding.”

Emergency management officials say, “It appears Ottawa and Franklin County will not get any disaster relief money for the latest flooding event, which probably means the $20,000 to $30,000 cost of fixing the traffic lights will come out of city coffers.”
