The sheer numbers of patients that have been through Advent Health Ottawa since the transition have been remarkable. Record numbers in the emergency room and now the need for a fourth operating room. Advent Health Ottawa CEO Matt Heine says, “We are in the process of recruiting another general surgeon and I feel the time is right to open the new operating room.”
This afternoon at 5:30, there will be a rededication ceremony at the hospital building. It will be named the Ransom building. honoring the legacy of the Ransom family. The public is invited to the ceremony. KOFO will carry the event live starting at 5:30 this afternoon.
