A luncheon sponsored by the Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce provided a meet and greet opportunity for new teachers and health care professionals in Ottawa. At the end of the occasion, Chamber President John Coen had some closing remarks.
Ottawa school superintendent Doctor Ryan Cobbs noted that this was the smallest number of new teachers he had seen in a number of years. He also noted that several of the teachers were from the local area. A kind of coming home for the new teachers.
