Road repair projects keep getting pushed back further due to bad weather and other factors. Franklin County Public Works Director David Lee says, “Chip and Seal will get started sooner or later.”
Lee says, “The contractor was originally supposed to start in early July. Nevertheless, the county will hold him to the finish goal of around thanksgiving. Lee says, “If the contractor fails to finish on time, he will be penalized substantial sums of money.”
