With the first day of school only about a week away, teachers and administrators are gearing up for the year. It’s time, maybe past time to get your kids enrolled in school. Ottawa high school Principal Kelly Whitaker says, “Enrollment is open online, or, you can come in and take care of it.”
The first day of school is one week from today for grades 1st through 6th and new students. It is a half-day with release at noon. The first full day of school for all students, except kindergarten is Monday, August 19th. The first official day for kindergartners will be Tuesday, the 20th. They will be dismissed at noon.
